A Look in the Mirror

As Christians, we must be able to take an honest look at ourselves.

The greatest commandment is to love. In the bible, Paul literally gives us a checklist to see if we're living out the greatest commandment.

I read this in a book Crazy Love written by Francis Chan, he said put your name in everywhere love is. Be honest with yourself.

Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous;
love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly;
it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered,
does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;
bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Don't worry, that's always a shocking realization for me too. We always must take the time to take an honest look in the mirror.

I challenge you to write down the ones your struggling with, read over them every night and look back on your day.
